So… I KNOW it’s Tuesday… but Technology has NOT been my friend. Â In fact, I was all prepared to share the wonders of my George Foreman Grill with you yesterday, but for some reason, YouTube is being difficult – BOO! Â But never fear, I shall DEF post it here when YouTube decides to play nicely… hopefully tonight.
In the meantime, I thought I’d share how I’m doing and my progress and a few little tid-bits of joy and sunshine 🙂
Speaking of Sunshine, last week while on vacation, we enjoyed TONS of sunshine and beautiful weather which meant a LOT of time outdoors 🙂  I loved it.  mainly we rode ATVs with the family – even the dog has his own Doggles - seriously! And it’s a good thing because like Texas, it was pretty dry and the trails were pretty dusty,  My favorite part of the ATV’s was that we could ride out to some pretty cool hiking areas.  We ended up taking a walk up to the “Spanish Mill” and while I’m not sure how accurate that title is, it’s what mom called it.  Basically, it was where they used to grind the rocks to get the Gold or Silver Ore…. with Donkeys or Mules (and apparently there is a difference… who knew) and my youngest decided to find his happy place while the dog and the eldest decided to circle him. It’s the little moments that make me smile.
We also made time for fun at the Hot Springs too – The Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort was AMAZING. Â The boys LOVED the 300 ft slide and after my little bike accident, I really loved sitting in the hot water and relaxing.
All in all, it was a great trip and a lot of fun. Â Even on Vacation, I still managed to lose 1/2 a lb and I’m jazzed about that. Â My BMI is currently 35.2 and every little step is one step closer to the goal.
Don’t forget we are halfway through the Gruntstyle Challenge – and if you haven’t tackled his workouts, you TOTALLY should! Â HE demonstrated them all for us last night and that was a real Treat since APPARENTLY I’ve been doing some wrong. Â THANK YOU!!!
Also, if you haven’t heard, Leah is taking applications for leadership within the sistahood – this is a GREAT way for you to get more involved and to inspire others if you are interested. Â She will be reviewing the applications at the end of the week. Â ALSO – CURRENT leadership should fill out the application as well to help her better organize who is doing what 🙂
And Speaking of the Sistahood – don’t forget to show some comment love. Â you never know when your comment will give someone the push, hug, or high five they needed. Â And if you are looking for additional support on YOUR journey to a healthier life, come join us!
Here’s where I’m going to add my video about grilling your breakfast! Â I hope I don’t have to re-do it and YouTube plays nicely today!
Lots of Love! Â See Y’all Next week 🙂

Love the vacation photos, glad you and the family had a great time! I have never been on an ATV, it’s on my to do list.
Honestly I didn’t think I’d like it… I’m not a HUGE fan of jet skis or snow mobiles… but this was AMAZING. you ABSOLUTELY MUST do it!

Great post Shelley! Looks like you had a great time on your vacation – lots of activity is paying off for you! Keeping up the momentum when back at work is a challenge, so I wish you well for this week!
Definitely have to be mindful as I get back into a new rhythm. Thanks for your support 🙂
Congrats on the weight loss! Sounds like you had a great weekend. I’m kind of jealous being that we haven’t been away in about 3 years! Ack..it’s definitely time. And the pic with the doggles is adorable, lol.
WE wouldn’t take many vacations if it weren’t for my parents making it… affordable. but I’m a big believer in taking time away when you can – work hard & play hard. Hubs and I will take a few weekend trips here and there just to get out of the rut. 🙂
So glad that you had a good time! I can’t wait to see what deliciousness you made. Is there a place where all of you link up your recipes? This would be a great tool! I put a new Foreman on my birthday wish list for this year. I need one big enough to feed my whole family, not just when it’s me.
Congrats on your weight loss, beautiful!
There are a few topics on Bookieboo for recipes but you can also find a LOT of recipes at http://www.georgeforemancooking.com/blog/category/recipes/
