Healthy living doesn’t have to be boring…

I know that I’m sporadic at best when it comes to posting here…. It just seems like I wake up, groggily check my phone to see what urgent needs have come up in the time I was sleeping and then my day kicks into high gear answer texts and addressing concerns via email, facebook, twitter, etc. Seems like the moment I finally get all the fires put out and can take a deep breath, I look and the clock has jumped ahead father than I’d like and I’m left with the challenge of fitting it all in. I’m sure I’m totally alone in this, right? *sarcasm*

In case you missed it, last weekend I was blessed not only with a girls day at MomCom Austin, but then on Sunday, I did the Graffiti Run with Sara and HAD. A. BLAST. I’m sure it was the company that made it so fun.
Graffiti
I know I’m trying to become a runner… but I’ve often said that if you see me running, it’s because someone is chasing me or I saw a snake… BUT… when you’ve got a gimmick??? Oh HECK YEAH! I’m in. That’s why my current race schedule includes the Diva Dash and most of all – the COLOR ME RAD RACE!!! Y’all may remember that the boys and I ran that 5K together a few months back and already we are planning to do it again! I think it is BY FAR my favorite – even if there are others who are doing similar things – throwing color at runners as they pass… but Color Me Rad organizers just seemed to have their crap together more than some others… just sayin… So, come November 9th, Boys and I will saddle up for the Color Me Rad in Austin.
Color Me Rad!
What’s Color me Rad? I went to their site to grab a snippet and seriously couldn’t choose because I love their style… they too are slightly off kilter :p

Historically, running has only been acceptable when trying to escape the law, personal responsibility, the truth, and grizzly bears…

Color Me Rad is coming to a town near you with a tsunami of color that’ll make colored tears of joy run down your cheeks and will renew your will to live.

After 5K of color bombardment, we guarantee your outlook will be brighter, your boyfriend will be more affectionate, your girlfriend will be less needy, the hair on your head will grow back and the hair on your back will fall out, your black and white TV will turn into 720p HD (I know you were hoping for 1080, but we organize races, we’re not miracle workers), blockquote-closeand your gray outlook will turn green like a spring morning.

And you know what else is awesome?

I am blessed enough to share my love of the Color Me Rad team with a ***GIVEAWAY*** So, if you’ve been wanting to take part in the Color Me Rad Festivities, NOW’s your chance… no excuses.
