Fantastic Friday Finds! – Bondi Band Review and Giveaway

It’s Friday (Thank Goodness!!) and that means it is time again for another FANTASTIC Friday Find!

Today I’m SUPER Stoked to share with you my latest love – BONDI BAND!

It all started back in September when my dear friend Running Rachel, did a review and giveaway.  I’ll be honest, I’m quite smitten with Rachel and she’s so inspiring to me, so her opinion REALLY matters to me.  I desperately wanted a Bondi Band of my very own.  I didn’t win her giveaway.  And I never quite got around to buying my own, but decided it would go on my Christmas list so that Santa could stick it in my stocking ;).  In the meantime, another darling Mamavation friend, Marie,  hosted a similar giveaway and review and again my love for these darling bands was rekindled!  I was SOOOO excited to win and FINALLY have one of my very own!

I really love the idea of the slogan on the one I picked – “Suck it Up Cupcake!” and as soon as I got it in the mail, I HAD to put it on and take a picture so excuse me for being a hot sweaty mess!

Since then, I’ve worn my Bondi Band every time I’ve worked out (and sometimes when I’m just not in the mood to fix my hair) and I can honestly say that I love it even more!  Why?  Glad you asked!!!

For starters, it keeps the hair out of my face!  I am still new to running and one of the things I hate is to have my hot, sweaty hair stick to my face – YUCK!  But with the Bondi Band firmly in place, I don’t have to deal with that!

It’s made of lycra, and fits snugly without being tight – it has a gripping layer that is unobtrusive but gets the job done –  that means that I don’t get a headache from wearing it!  I have the hardest time wearing headbands even though I love the way my hair looks in them because either the headband doesn’t stay in place or is so tight behind my ears that I get a horrid headache… That doesn’t happen with the Bondi Band!!!

The downside (from my husband’s perspective anyway) is that there are so many wonderful sayings and choices, that I want to order them all!  I tried explaining that some women buy lots of purses… some buy lots of shoes… he’s getting off lucky if all I want are headbands and hats!

So here’s where it gets really exciting… Are you ready???

    I have two BondiBands already and I love them. They’re so easy to wash and they stay very nicely and even cover my ears when I’m cold. I’m not familiar with that other product, so I can’t compare. I love that multi-colored print headband – pick me!

    I think the headbands are my favorite; definitely something worth trying.
    Bondibands, in my opinion, seem like a pretty sweet deal. Not only do they come in some pretty awesome prints, but they’re handy and (from what I’ve heard/read) they do the trick in actually working!

    Of the 3 you’re giving away, I would love the pink wicking ponytail hat.

    None of the sayings are that appropriate for me – a lifter NOT a runner. If they had a “Strong is the New Skinny” or any other lifting saying I’d be over them like dead on a lift.

    I LOVE Bondi Band! When I get some $$, I’m going to get them to custom design some Fit Mom ones for me! Squeeeee!

    I love the headbands. I wear mine all.the.time. I would actually vlog more often but I never do my hair because I can just throw it back in the band. Genius!

    I so love the I love Running I hate running one plus they have them Glow in the Dark!! Love that for when I’m out running with my dog in the evening!!

    I love the “suck it up cupcake” that one made me LMAO reminds me of Jillian Michaels. These are cool because you can be stylish AND personal while working out, or just running around town!
