It’s absolutely no secret that my kids LOVE pizza…I mean I’m pretty sure that if I told them that we were eating pizza every night for the rest of our lives, they’d be perfectly ok with that. Their favorite pizza toppings often depend on their mood and honestly range from plain cheese to everything except for the kitchen sink.
I like to be able to have some control over what goes into the mouths of my family – no secret I know – but making my own pizza dough from scratch is not always an option. That’s why I love Boboli Pizza crusts.
With the Boboli pizza crusts, I can make a healthier version of pizza for my family and then everyone is happy. And honestly, the options are endless. Now that Football season has begun, this is also a great option for quick and easy football watching parties too!
There are a ton of pizza recipes you can find on the Boboli website – ranging from breakfast to desert and everything in between so no matter what your family likes, chances are you can find something to make even the pickiest of eaters happy and most take as little as 30 minutes to get to the table…faster than most delivery pizzas and this is good because when my boys are hungry, they are HUNGRY and not patient.

What are some of your favorite pizza combinations?
Hi, I just made some pizza using a crust last night. I’m trying to at least feed my kids a healthier pizza. It was a hit! But I am curious as to the different crusts available and which ones have the best taste/health balance? What sauce and cheese do you recommend?
Sauce and cheese are a matter of preference to be honest. I don’t use a premade sauce but instead blend some diced tomatoes with herbs and spread it on the crust. Cheese – typically we are a colby jack family. Cheese is one area I don’t skimp on. I’d rather go without cheese altogether than use a “low fat” variety so, we use full fat/ full flavor cheese in moderation.
Thanks for the reply!
I tried Kraft Mozzarela for my first run… Do you have a specific Colby jack brand you like?
Do you only use Boboli crusts? Which crusts did you try that you found inferior?
I plan to make a pizza with a Great Value brand crust mix tomorrow or tonight….I read good reviews on it but the convenience factor makes me want to find a good ready to put in the oven crust. I used Mama Mary’s crust for personal pizzas and it was ok…not great…just ok. Hoping there is better.
normally if I’m making Pizza at home, I make the crust from scratch. I love the Boboli crusts when I’m in a time crunch though and my kids and I prefer the thin crust. I haven’t tried any other brands … Guess I’m a creature of habit 🙂
Cheese, I generally by my local store brand because HEB and Hill Country Fare have always treated me well.
