So, About a year ago, I met Alysa over at InspiredRD and boy am I glad I did!One of the main things I learned from her was that usually, I’m eating the right foods, but my portions were WAYYYYYYYY out of whack! not only did she help me to get them back in order, but helped me to learn new ways to fuel my body. Plus, she’s Crafty and just all around awesome.
Now, she’s teaching me a new way to fuel my soul. and the best part is that it’s something you can join in with.
Every day is a day to be thankful. Life’s abundance has no limit, and gratitude is what keeps that abundance flowing. In every circumstance there is something for which to be thankful. Even when there seems to be nothing else, there is hope.
You can read more about the #365Thanks Challenge over on Alysa’s site but I hope you’ll join in 🙂
My plan is to Tweet and Facebook my gratitude and weekly do a recap on Thursdays to link up with everyone else participating.
So, Today is the first. And I’m thankful for my family
It’s no secret that I never thought I’d be spending New Years Eve alone with my parents and kids at 35 years old, but honestly, I wouldn’t have gotten through the rough patches with out them. Â (and over the last 35 years, I’ve had my fair share of rough patches). Â Add in my AMAZING BOYS (and yes, the 12 YO is almost as tall as my mom) and I am truly blessed. Â Together we all laugh and cry, celebrate and mourn. Â Without my family, I wouldn’t have been exposed to as many amazing experiences as I have and I know that each and every one of those experiences have made me who I am.
I’m also Thankful we get to VISIT snow… I like warm weather and wouldn’t be happy living in cold weather, but am sure thankful for the opportunities to visit and frolic with my kids now before they get too big to think that snow angels ae the coolest thing in the world.
So, what are you thankful for today? Â Won’t you join us for #365thanks?
Love it!!! I also love spending time with my parents. What’s wrong with that??? And I love Alysa’s #365thanks. I even got my BFF into it and we are posting on FB too. 🙂
I love this idea! I am thankful for friends like you. 🙂
