#Mamavation Monday – Knockout the Fat Weight Loss Challenge

This week was uneventful Lots of work, and life, and getting back into the swing of things after vacation… Back to reality, right? Great… now I have that song in my head lol!

I’m super excited for tonight’s Mamavation TV with guest Alysa – @inspiredRD

First of all, She’s FANTASTIC! and completely open – so if you have questions (and come on, none of us know EVERYTHING) make sure you tune in but also, ask your questions here so she can answer them!

This week’s blogging carnival is sponsored by Organ Wise Guys and Fiber Choice.  And the question posed for this week was definitely thought provoking for me:

What nutrition lessons have you learned from your kids?

We often think that as moms, we are the teachers.  And while that is true most of the time, occasionally we are also the students.   This past week something happened that taught me just how different our life has become.  Since I first started working with Alysa as a Mamavation Mom, our lives – mine, my family, my kids – have changed.

Also, last week there were technical difficulties so I’m sharing a quick video about how you can use your George Foreman Grill for BREAKFAST! That’s right – Breakfast 🙂

And for this week’s scale picture, which shows a loss of 0.5 lbs And my BMI is currently 35.1. Slowly but surely I’m getting where I want to be.

This post is sponsored by Organ Wise Guys and Fiber Choice and I’m writing this to be entered into a giveaway hosted by Mamavation .  Additionally, I was named  on of 10 bloggers selected for the George Foreman Knock out the Fat Weight loss challenge where I received compensation for my honest opinions.

  1. Hey Momma! Great idea with the breakfast grillin’. Any thing to make it quick with less cleanup I’m loving… So I gotta tell ya, you have a GREAT voice for TV commercials and voice overs. Has anyone ever told you that? Seriously. 😉

  2. Monica Young says

That breakfast is good for each meal of the day. Good job.

  3. Great video!! I’m with Heather on breakfast for dinner, it is a favorite with my kids. You have inspired me to use my George Foreman more often.

  4. Man that looks yummy!

I’m sorry about the tummy ache, but sometimes the experience is a better teaching moment than a lecture.

Great work this week. Keep it up!

  5. The breakfast looks great but I have to admit, the fat girl in me wanted to slather it with some American cheese, lol. No, really though, looks yummy and I would have never thought to make eggs on the Foreman. Thanks for the tip!

  6. I am so with you – Alysa is amazing. Loved the video and hope you have an awesome week

  7. I know! I totally love making breakfast (actually, breakfast for dinner) on my grill!

Great job, Shelley! Keep it up!
