Mamavation Monday – another year has come and gone

It’s Monday – Although it’s hard to keep track of the days when you aren’t going to work every day.  Today has been a day of reflection as another year comes to a close and a new year begins fresh.

In the past year I’ve loved deeper than most would think I should have, had my heart broken harder than I want to admit, and picked up the pieces along the way.  I’ve cried until there were no more tears and laughed so hard I though I would die.  I’ve made new friends and deepened relationships with old friends and discovered things about friendship along the way.  I’ve challenged long held beliefs and changed my mind… a lot.  I’ve tried new things and maintained long held traditions and the best part is that all of this will happen again in the next 12 months.  Hopefully I’m not just one year older but also one year smarter.

I set out to develop a list of goals but why stop with just this year?  There is so much I want to accomplish that I think my 50 x 50 list is more in line than a simple list of goals and resolutions.   And of course I will blog along the way…. can’t accomplish all that I’ve set out to without dragging you along with me 🙂

Most of all, are the fitness goals.  This year I will finally hit my final goal weight… and it’s been a long enough journey for sure.  I also have a number of races planned to aid me in reaching some of the running goals.

I have no regrets from 2012, but I’m happy to embrace another year.  Another year to take steps to finding my own strength, living my dreams, reaching my goals and enjoying every step along the way.

Happy New Year to all of you!  Thanks for hanging around.  See you next year!
